Sam Robson

Founder

After starting his career in financial planning at Liberty Life in 1992, Sam went on to join Glenrand in 1995 as an independent financial advisor. In 2004, he pioneered the Johannesburg branch of WellsFaber, a Cape Town based specialist investment advisory and management firm. This branch steadily grew into a successful part of the business, and in 2015, Sam established Custodian Wealth through the separation of the Johannesburg branch as a result of a restructure at WellsFaber.

Sam has been practicing as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional since 2000 after obtaining a post graduate diploma in financial planning law from the University of the Free State. He is also a longstanding member of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI), and the Financial Intermediaries Association of Southern Africa (FIA).

Sam is married to Carol, and together they have four children. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family, settling scores on the squash court, serving in Christian ministry, and cheering on his favorite rugby teams (Lions & Bokke!).
